Эти пять факторов были обнаружены в результате сравнения успешных и неуспешных компаний во многих товарных категориях. После идентификации факторов на базе 250-ти компаний из 66-ти категорий мы отобрали множество примеров в их поддержку. Не представляется возможным опубликовать даже малую толику тех свидетельств, что мы собрали и оценили на основе сотен книг и тысяч статей. Поэтому мы отобрали наиболее яркие примеры проявления каждого из пяти факторов длительного лидерства. Надеемся, эти примеры окажутся интересными и поучительными.[229]
